S. Michael T. Tooke, MD  Dr. Tooke received his medical training in Kingston , Ontario , Canada . He joined the Guilford Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Division of Southeastern Orthopaedic Specialists in 2005. Prior to his arrival to GOSMC, Dr. Tooke was engaged in private orthopaedic practice in Los Angeles for ten years. While in Los Angeles , Dr. Tooke served as the Chief of Staff at the Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital and as President of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Western Orthopaedic Association. Dr. Tooke previously served on the faculties of the John Hopkins and UCLA Schools of Medicine.
Dr. Tooke’s current practice is restricted to the treatment of adult spinal disorders including complex deformities, spinal column tumors, failed surgery and degenerative and traumatic problems. Dr. Tooke enjoys traveling back to Canada for rest and relaxation. Dr Tooke resides in Greensboro with his wife and three daughters. Dr. Tooke’s Medical Training & Professional Experience
